1950s: Start-up phase

· Moved to Sham Shui Po
· Developed more western pharmaceutical products, such as: Comisol Ointment, Radisol Skin Lotion
· Also started developing Chinese pharmaceutical brands, such as: Star Brand Cinnamon Oil and Pak Loong Medicated Oil
· Tailored products for Chinese pharmacies/dispensary
· Focused on business-to-business

1970s: Medium-sized enterprise

· Current CEO, Mr Robin Law, takes over
· Expands to two units in Sham Shui Po
· Develops more new products/brands, including: Darkie Medicated Oil, Eucalyptus Oil, Lo Fung Oil, Miksin Cough Mixture, Creston Cough Mixture and Victory Cough Mixture
· Continues expansion in Western and Chinese pharmaceutical product variety
· Government requires in-house registered pharmacist by 1979

1980s: Licensed manufacturer

· Merika Medicine Factory Limited registered under Hong Kong Companies Registry
· Moved to current premises in industrial area of Fotan
· Government required western medicinal products to be registered
· Dozens of products registered
· Modernization and semi-automation of manufacturing facility

1990s: One-stop-shop + Overseas expansion

· First to bring healthcare products to Hong Kong, such as: Ozvite (Shark cartilage capsule)
· First to introduce day-time and night-time cold medicince to Hong Kong: Coldez Day and Night Cold Capsule
· Expanded into antibiotics business (Amcolx 500 Capsule)
· Extended company footprint Vietnam (developing sales channels) and Macau (set up GMP-level western medicine manufacturing facility)

2000s: Pharma platform

· Established a Chinese medicine GMP-grade facility in Macau
· Developed Arthro Strong into one of the top three glucosamine-based health product brands in Hong Kong
· Set up cosmetic factory in Guangzhou (美惠化裝品廠)
· Expand Greater China footprint

2010: Pharma ecosystem + Further China expansion

· Began collaboration with Huang Fei Hong family to develop HFH brand
· Set-up Merika Shenzhen to bring footprint to China
· Established Miracle Life’s presence in China through Zhuhai and Shenzhen
· Sold portfolio of western medicine registration numbers to prioritize Chinese medicine

2020 and beyond: Pharma brand incubator + Greater Bay Area focus

· Establishes multiple proprietary online sales platforms
· Focuses on digital marketing in Greater Bay Area
· Further developing of the Huang Fei Hong brand
